Former Detroit Lion and Michigan State star WR Charles Rogers is being ordered to go back to jail after violation of Parole. Rogers was found passed out in a Mexican restaurant after drinking too much.
District Court Judge Robert Bondy ordered Charles Rogers to serve 93 days in Oakland County Jail.
Deputy Chief Tom Lindberg said, the 28 year old Rogers was arrested after this restaurant incident on suspicion of not being able to fulfill his probation in a Novi 52nd District Sobriety Court program.
Charles Rogers was taken into custody Tuesday at an “On The Border” restaurant on Haggerty Road at around 3:15 p.m. after employees were unable to wake him and were afraid he might have suffered a heart attack, another police officer said.
Last year Charles Rogers pleaded guilty last year to operating a motor vehicle while he was drunk. He also tested positive three times for alcohol and failed to appear one time for testing in the month of November.
What are these young guys thinking, they go from being millionare’s and having a great life and they throw it all away because they cannot keep out of trouble.
